1. Tips for Kingdom Living – Testing
Why do we need to be tested? Because out of testing comes a more committed faith. Also, spiritual testing reveals the impurities and sin of our hearts. When god tests us the results are a deepening of our obedience and love.
How is a test different from a temptation? Satan tempts us to destroy our faith, but God tests us to strengthen us and to purify us.
James 1:12 – God blesses the people who patiently endure testing. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love Him.
2. Strategic Advice for the Remnant – Hope
God has the solutions to our problems (I Cor. 10:13) and His grace is sufficient for every need (2 Cor. 9:8).
God is able to do more than we ask or imagine (Eph. 3:20) and He is always faithful (Lam.3:32).
Hope is the anchor for the soul (Heb. 6:19, 20) so put your hope in God (Ps 42). Put your hope in a faithful and almighty God (Ps 146:53-10).
Hope produces endurance and perseverance (I Thess. 1:3).
Believers have a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ (I Peter 1:3).

LIVING BY FAITH – PRAISE HIM WHEN OTHERS HATE YOU
Psalm 37:14,34 NIV
The wicked have drawn the
sword
And have bent their bow,
To cast down the poor and needy,
To slay those who are of upright conduct.
Wait on the LORD,
And keep His way,
And He shall exalt you to inherit the land;
When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
If you've reached this step in living by faith, you've probably started making a few waves. As a matter of fact, you should have created quite a storm by now – especially in those around you who are not Christians.
Non-Christian have two basic responses to Christians who are living by faith. They either love them or hate them. There’s rarely a “shade of grey.” If non-Christians love and admire Christians, it's probably because they are seeking "some of that" for themselves. They see your peace in the midst of the storm, and wonder how you handle your life so calmly when everything around you seems to be falling apart. What they don't realize is that they are seeing Jesus living in you. And because they are being wooed by the Spirit, you are a living testimony to them of what they can have if they turn their lives over to Jesus.
But the others – the ones who hate you – they also hate Jesus. They are being wooed by another spirit, one that is our enemy. He is inspiring within them a hatred for the goodness and mercy of our Lord. Jesus said this would happen – that we would be hated and despised for His sake. But that's fine. As a matter of fact, if people hate you because of your faith in Jesus, all the better. Because that hatred is living evidence that you are living according to the Word.
I once knew a woman who had lost her child in a car accident. She was a Christian. Her husband was not. After she recovered from her grief, she used her experience to minister to others, working with support groups of parents who had lost children, sharing the peace and joy that Jesus had given her with others to help them through their loss. She tried to share this same peace with her husband, but he wouldn't accept it. Daily, he grew to hate her more and more. Where she had found peace, he continued to grieve and to grow more and more bitter at the loss of his little girl. He didn't understand his wife's peace, and he hated her for it. Sadly, they were soon divorced. Her life today is one of peace and joy and sharing of the love of Jesus. His life is a disaster, still filled with bitterness and anger.
When you are oppressed – hated – ridiculed – mocked – injured – or whatever – because you are living your life as a committed Christian, praise the Lord that He is allowing you to suffer with Him and that He will keep His promises.

End Times Watch 74 - VIENNA (Reuters) - The United States said on Wednesday Iran was nearing the ability to make atom bombs by stockpiling enriched uranium and, with EU allies, prodded Tehran to engage in talks now on its nuclear ambitions.
Western powers spoke at a U.N. nuclear watchdog meeting as Iran's state television announced that it would hand over a long-delayed package of proposals for talks "very soon" amid Western talk of pursuing far harsher sanctions against Tehran.
