The Word is given by inspiration of God (2 Tim 3:16).

The Word is given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:16, Heb 3:7 and 2 Peter 1:21).

In the Word the Scriptures are called the:

          Word (James 1:21-23 & 1Peter2:2).

          Word of God (Luke 11:28 & Heb 4:12).

          Word of Truth (James 1:18).

The Bible Scriptures testify of Christ (John 5:39, Acts 10:43, Acts 18:28 & 1 Cor 15:3).

They are full and sufficient (Luke 16: 29 & Luke 16:31).

They are an unerring guide (Prov6:23 & 2 Peter 1:19).

Bible Scriptures are profitable both for doctrine and practice 92 Tim 3:16-17).

They are written for our instruction (Romans 15:4).

They are intended for use by all men (Romans 16:26).

They are to be compared one portion to another (1 Cor 2:13).
