Encouragement Note

Hi,

I just wanted to pass on an encouragement note to you as a visitor to this Practical Spiritual Warfare site.

I have heard from many visitors to this site through the CONTACT FORM. There have been many words of encouragement which I appreciate.  There have also been many of you who have poured out your hearts to me expressing the pain and turmoil in your lives.

It is a tremendous honor and privilege for me to share in your lives; it is something I do not take lightly.

I am getting more and more comments having to do with difficult, heart wrenching situations.  There is so much hurt and pain in the world and it is increasing. I try to respond to these situations as best I can, although my responses are, of necessity of time, having to get shorter.

The practical, everyday battle is real and seems to be getting more intense. In America, the battle against true believers is subtle, but more and more frequent and intense. And, believe me it will continue to increase – it is not going to go away.

As a visitor to this site, I would like for you to know, and be encouraged by the fact, that Christ has told us in the Book of Revelation that troubles would increase in frequency and intensity as we near the end of the age and the return of Christ. The encouragement note is not that troubles will increase, but that the return of Jesus is near.

I believe we are seeing the signs, both of the troubles and of the return of Jesus today.

I also believe the signs of the troubles are being manifested in many of the personal, deep and painful things many of you are experiencing.

I do not believe Satan is behind every bush, personally causing each and every problem. However, I do believe that Satan is still the prince of this world, just as Christ told us; he will continue in that role until Christ returns and binds him.

Satan is given free reign as the prince of this world for the time being so that every person can make a free-will choice to either choose to follow Christ or to follow Satan. God desires that none should perish, but we must make a free-will choice to follow Him, He will absolutely not usurp our free-will.  

Satan knows his time is short, so we can expect the battle to intensify.

Here is the encouragement note Satan has no power over the true believer! We are promised that Satan MUST FLEE in the name of Jesus.

The NAME OF JESUS means the essence of Jesus, the character of Jesus, the power and the authority of Jesus.

As long as true believers stay in Christ, that is, confessing and repenting of our sins FROM THE HEART and believing from the heart that Jesus is the Son of God, that He came to earth as a human, that He died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, that He came back to life, ascended to heaven and sits at the right hand of God and that He will return again and establish his kingdom here on earth –

IF YOU BELIEVE THAT WITH ALL YOUR HEART, THAT IS, WITH YOUR ENTIRE BEING, WITH EVERYTHING THAT IS IN YOU, AND IF YOU CONFESS THAT WITH YOUR MOUTH – YOU CAN TELL SATAN TO BE GONE IN THE POWER AND AUTHORITY (NAME) OF JESUS and HE MUST FLEE.

We are not promised that we will be without pain or trouble – in fact, we can expect it because this is a sinful world.  However, the good news is that, if you are a true believer, you will have eternal life in heaven.

So, be strong and courageous, Christ has already won the battle and He will be returning one of these days for His Bride – OH how I look forward to that!  This is the biggest encouragement note here!
