And you He made
alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,
2in which you once walked
according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of
the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
3among whom also we all
once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of
the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the
others. 4But God, who is
rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5even when we were dead in
trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
6and raised us up
together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in
Christ Jesus, 7that in the
ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His
kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
8For by grace you have been
saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9not of works, lest anyone
should boast. 10For we are
His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared
beforehand that we should walk in them.
Ephes. 4:32 (NKJV)
And be kind to one
another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave

Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,

For we ourselves were
also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures,
living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.
4But when the kindness and
the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,
5not by works of
righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us,
through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
6whom He poured out on us
abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7that having been justified
by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

But immediately, when
Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said
to them, "Why do you reason about these things in your hearts?
9Which is easier, to say to
the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise, take up
your bed and walk'? 10But
that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"--He
said to the paralytic, 11I
say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.

Your will be done
On earth as it is in
heaven.

our daily bread.
4And forgive us our
sins,
For we also forgive everyone
who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into
temptation,
But deliver us from the evil
one."
James 5:14-15 (NKJV)
Is anyone among you
sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed
sins, he will be forgiven.
i.
We Receive
Forgiveness From God Through redemption
Ephes. 1:7 (NKJV)
In Him we have redemption
through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
Col. 1:14 (NKJV)
in whom we have redemption
through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Hebrews 9:12-15 (NKJV)
Not with the blood of
goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for
all, having obtained eternal redemption.
13For if the blood of bulls
and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the
purifying of the flesh, 14how
much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered
Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve
the living God? 15And for
this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the
redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are
called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
