LESSON Month 01-Day 02
This spiritual warfare discipleship program is uniquely designed to make
disciples for Christ using the Word and a simple process of multiplication
while increasing your circle of friends and having fun.
Keep in mind that we are entering in to the last days and there is a
desperate need for prepared kingdom workers who understand the times in
which we live!
Weekly memory Scripture:
Matthew 28:18-20.
Today’s Scripture:
Matthew, Chapter 2. Please Underline verses that will help
you make 12 disciples for Jesus.
Identify in a way you can come back to for review what
scripture from today’s reading that will help me make 12 spiritual
warfare disciples for Jesus. You may want to highlight the scripture in your
bible or you may want to write it out – however you can best come back for
reminder and review.
LESSON
Disciple: Our
scripture reading today
tells about Satan trying
to kill Jesus through the wicked King Herod.
Servant: Yes, fortunately Joseph was warned in a dream about the
plot and fled with his small family until it was safe to return to Israel.
D: Can God warn me in a dream?
S: Of course, God has a plan for your life and can even
use dreams to help you fulfill it.
D: This training invites me to invest 12 minutes a day
for 12 months and gather weekly to share progress. By doing
this I will grow enough to make 12
spiritual warfare disciples for Jesus who
will do likewise. And, Jesus Himself will reward me.
Servant: You’ve got it.
D: You have confidence that even I can make 12
disciples for Jesus who do likewise.
S: Others have and you can, too.
D: I’m not a math genius, but it won’t take many
multiplications by 12 to reach lots of people, will it?
S: Right again. Once your 12 have each made 12
disciples for Jesus, it totals 144 people. That’s more people than
are in the average sized church.
D: And, according to my calculator, when those 144
have each made 12 disciples for Jesus the total is 1,728
people, correct?
S: Correct. That’s enough people to fill most large
churches in just 2 multiplications.
D: How many multiplications will it take to make disciples
of every person on planet earth?
S: Only 10!
D: So, although the
training only takes 1 year, if it took an average of 3 years for each
multiplication, it would only take
30
years to reach every person in the world, right?
S: Right. And if it
took an average of 5 years for each multiplication, it would only take
50
years to reach the 7 billion people on the earth, right?
D: That’s a lot
better than we’ve done in the last 2000 years, isn’t it?
S: It certainly is.
All we each have to do is make
12
spiritual warfare
disciples for Jesus
who do likewise. As that’s done only
10
times, the world is won.
D: Have you calculated the numbers?
S: Of course. They look like a 12 x 12
Christmas tree.
