LESSON Month 01-Day 21
This spiritual
warfare
discipleship program is uniquely designed to make disciples for Christ
using the Word and a simple process of multiplication while increasing your
circle of friends and having fun.
Keep in mind that we
are entering in to the last days and there is a desperate need for prepared
kingdom workers who understand the times in which we live!
Weekly memory Scripture:
John 3:16
Today’s Scripture: Matthew 15:1-20. Please Underline verses that will help
you make 12
spiritual warfare
disciples for Jesus.
Identify, in a way you can come back to for review, what
scripture from today’s reading that will help me make 12
spiritual warfare
disciples for Jesus. You may want to highlight the scripture in your
bible or you may want to write it out – however you can best come back for
reminder and review.
LESSON
Disciple:
Will you please share another simple, effective way to talk
to people about joining my 12 for Jesus family?
Servant: Of course. First tell me what you’ve learned so far
about talking to people about 12 for Jesus.
D: Always get permission by first asking, “May I ask
you a question?”
S: Right. Is it working for you?
D: Yes, very well. It opens the door. All my Christian
friends have said, “Sure”.
S: What have you said next?
D: Asked either, “How many disciples have you
made for Jesus?” or “Have you heard about 12 for Jesus?”
or “Do you attend a Bible study?”
S: Have those simple questions worked?
D: Yes.
S: How many people have said they want to be part of your
12 for Jesus family?
D: So far, the number of people who have expressed
an interest total ____.
S: Good. Here’s another easy way to reach people for your
12. It’s based on our memory verse for this week, the famous John
3:16.
D: I’ve already memorized it.
S: Good. After asking your prospect, “May I ask you a
question?” look them straight in the eyes and sincerely ask, “Why
should Jesus let you into Heaven?”
D: Good question.
That’ll make people think. What do people usually answer?
S: About 80% of people give an incorrect answer like,
“I’m a good person.”
S: How do I answer
them?
D: Say,
“According to the
Bible, there’s a better answer. Want to hear it?”
S:
When they
say “Yes”,
how do I reply?
D: Simply say,
“In John 3:16
it says: ‘God so loved the people of this world that He gave His only
Son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal
life.”
S: What do I say
next?
D: Ask,
“You want to spend eternity in Heaven, don’t you?”
S: When people say
“Yes”, do I
lead them in a short prayer of salvation?
D: Yes, have them
repeat something easy like this:
“God, I have faith in Your Son, Jesus
Christ. Thank you that I will spend eternity in Heaven with You.”
Amen
S: That is
easy. Then do I tell them about the 12 for Jesus training and invite
them to join my 12?
D: Yes, help them put
their faith
into action.
S: I’ll practice this John 3:16 approach a couple
times with my friend and then use it with others this week. Thanks!
D: You’re welcome. Go get your 12. Pray that the
Holy Spirit will give you the boldness to simply say, “May I ask
you a question?”
