When we interceed for someone, or something, we should do it at the Alter of Inscense in the Holy Place of the Tabernacle; when we pray here our prayers are sweet aroma to the Lord. This is where true spiritual warfare takes place.

We do not have to enter a physical Tabernacle; since the cross of Jesus the Tabernacle is within us - all we have to do is understand what Christ has given us and who we are in Christ.

Fervent Prayer

Fervent Prayer in intercession does not mean emotional hooting and hollering and shouting prayer; however, it does mean to pray intently, with passion, sincerity and intense prayer. It means stiring up the spirit that is within you. Remember, Jesus sweat blood when He prayed intently and with passion in the garden before He was taken to face the cross - that was fervent prayer! [note: if shouting and hooting and hollering was spiritual warfare prayer, Christ could have done that and kept the disciples awake.]

Clense Yourself

We also have to understand that for our prayers to be effective we must be sure we are cleansed and holy. As human beings we tend to look outside ourselves to identify our problems. Yes, there are plenty of problems in the world outside ourselves, but when it comes to having our prayers heard and answered by God we have to look inside ourself to be sure we have confessed all our known sin and turned from it.

As God matures us and grows us in our own spiritual walk, He brings to light "things" in our own life that we must take care of through repenting and asking forgiveness. He does this by placing in front of us the "thing" He wants corrected in us; He puts a conviction in us that sonething is wrong.

We have to learn to pay attention to the unsettledness we begin to sense in our inner self. If we learn to pay attention and move to deal with the "thing", everything will be OK. However, if we ignor the sense that we have, our life will become unsettled, and God will begin to bring that "thing" more and more to the front of our attention or in our life.

Until we finally deal with the "thing"in our life, the faces may change, the place or location may change, but the situation will remain the same, repeated over and over in our life until the "thing" is recognized and dealt with. It is then that we are able to move to the next level in out life that God has for us.

Being Honest With Yourself and With God

Listen my friends, you don't have to be honest with me, you don't even have to tell me anything - but you do have to be honest with the Lord and you do have to acknowledge to Him what He already knows about you, and you do have to be willing to turn from whatever that "thing" is in your life.

The sooner you do that the sooner He will take that"thing" from you, help you to live without it and move you to the next level. All this is essential for spiritual warfare prayers to be effective

Do all this and you will experience phenomenal freedom and release in your life! You will be free to experience all God has planned for you.
