Words From Jesus: On LOVE

Jesus had much to say about love.  In the practical, everyday spiritual warfare we all experience we are wise to know the Jesus’ words.  His words give us unshakable confidence that Satan and his demons can have no part of us when we stay anchored to Him.

Simon, son of John, do you love Me?  John 21:17

If you love Me, you will keep my commandments.  John 14:15

Greater Love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  John 15:13

The Father himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from the Father.  John 16:27

If a man loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and will come to him and make our home with him.  John 14:23

For the Father loves the Son, shows him all that he himself is doing; and greater works than these will he show him, that you may marvel.  John 5:20

For He whom God has sent utters the words of God, for it is not My pleasure that he gives the Spirit; the Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.  John 3:34-35

As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you; abide in My love.   If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.  John 15:9-11

Blessed are the Words from Jesus!

If the world hates you, know that it has hated Me before it hated you.   If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. John 15:18-19

You did not chose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give it to you.  This I command to you, to love one another.  John 15:16-17

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.  Matthew 5:43-45

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.  John 13:33-35

If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that you? For even sinners do the same.  Luke 6:32-33

Father, I desire that they also, whom thou hast given Me, may be with Me where I am, to behold my glory which thou hast given Me in Thy love for Me before the foundation of the world.  John 17:24
