Words From Jesus: On The Kingdom

Jesus had much to say about the Kingdom.  In the practical, everyday spiritual warfare we all experience we are wise to know the Jesus’ words.  His words give us unshakable confidence that Satan and his demons can have no part of us when we stay anchored to Him.

 

Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:17

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3

No one who puts his hand to the plough and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.  Luke 9:62

The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the gospel. Mark 1:15

Let the children come to Me, do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of God.  Mark 10:14

Leave the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.  Luke 9:60

Unless you righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.  Matthew 5:20

Every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.  Matthew 13:51-2

The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.  Matthew 13:44

The kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.  Matthew 13:45-46

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  Matthew 5:10

Truly, I say to you, I shall not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it in the kingdom of God. Mark 14:25

Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it. Mark 10:15

Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you; heal the sick in it and say to them ‘the kingdom of God has come near you’. Luke 10:8-9

To what shall I compare the kingdom of God? It is like a leaven which a woman took and hid in three pecks of meal, until it was all leavened.  Luke 13:20-21

Not everyone who says to Me ‘Lord, Lord’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 7:21

Blessed are the Words from Jesus!

I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,; for I say to you I shall never again eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. Luke 22:15-16

Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power. Mark 9:1

The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, ‘Lo, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you. Luke 17:20-21

Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:5-6

My kingship is not of this world; if My kingship were of this world, My servants would fight, that I might not be handed over to the Jews; but My kingship is not from the world. John 18:36

To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God; but for others they are in parables, so that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand. Luke 8:10

Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has risen no one greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Matthew 11:11

Every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings forth out of his treasure things new and old. Matthew 13:52
